The new 10,000-square-foot building will incorporate sustainable design and green building strategies, such as operable windows for natural ventilation and lighting. Additional building features will include a power and energy lab as well as a design and engineering lab, both with associated classrooms, storage and tool rooms. The exterior consist of over 33,000 Square Feet of Alaskan Yellow Cedar wood slats, 800 Square Feet of exterior Trellis and an Architectural radius Glue Lam Beam Pillar System, providing a natural blend of contemporary and rustic textures.
