The 204,000-square-foot Arroyo student housing rests on nearly 3 acres adjacent to the existing Pentland Hills housing complex.  The project consists of four, four story buildings providing 500 beds to incoming University of California Riverside students as well as 3 common area buildings.  All the walls were “prefabbed” on the ground and then set in place with guardrail already attached.  This ensured that a fall protection system would already be in place for the floors above.
